discuss choices. You may be able to specify preferences and you should certainly explain any colour theme. At the reception, it is a good idea to decorate the entrance and place an arrangement near to the receiving line.

Other large arrangements could be positioned next to the table seating plan, near the entrance to the dining room or marquee, and inside. Flowers are usually set near to the wedding cake, but this will depend on the style of the cake, and if flowers already feature strongly in its design, it may not be a good idea to place more nearby.
